Quest completed.
It took me one year to find out how to cancel the online subscription for Everquest. I haven't got the client anymore and despite emails asking various support people - including publisher and god-knows-who-else - I never got a reply regarding my cancellation request.

But today I've stumbled - by pure accident - over the online account management facilty and there was a big red "cancel subscription" button.

Am I embarrassed?

Not really. After all it took me 800 miles of a drive with full aircon on (!) in the winter (!!) to realize how the climate control facility sucks out the petrol of my car (!!!).

white sales.
Yesterday I wasn't entirely sure what this big fat white cloud approaching me with quite high speed was all about. I just got out the car after a enjoyable drive to Bournemouth. Nice streets, no wet conditions - just a bit of traffic congestion but driving in rush hour doesn't leave you with empty streets.

So there I was, starring at this huge white cloud, not knowning what I'm supposed to do right now and therefore decided to keep on starring.

For a split second I thought this is a miserable episode from a sci fi series where a white cloud is going to attack me because I've parked on its parking space.

But ney, before I could finish my slighlty off-beat-mainstream fantasy I was not only able to see anything except the colour white, I also was suddenly covered with snow coming from all directons supported and underlined by heavy lightning.

Okay,so I am now living in England for nearly 4 years. England, where Snow appears only every now and then. There are even English people who haven't seen snow at all and out of the sudden a normal day turns into a snowstorm, degrees falling from upper 6 Celsius to a scary -2...and all that with knowing that the British Traffic and Transport System surley isn't prepared for something this as normally 1 cm of snow is enough to screw up the traffic system for several days.

And I thought England is a save place to live.

HairOp.
You can get a haircut as cheap as 15 pounds at Toni & Guy…at least in Farnham. I’ve just booked an appointment for Saturday. Obviously somebody who is *only* a junior and probably just finished the hair academy is going to cut my hair but hey, it is less then half the normal price!

So we shall see what is going to happen to my head. But my logical thinking drives me to the following conclusion:

a) I anyway want a normal none-of-the-fancy-stuff-bollocks haircut. So no special skills required than normal haircutting skills. Theoretically.

b) To work at toni & guy even as a Junior probably requires you to have a certain skill / art level...of course with room for improvement. But if they were shit they wouldn’t take them on in the first place.

But if I’m in the office on Monday with a bald head then my logicial thinking was entirely wrong which makes me believe that I just wrote this entry for my own self-assurance and to upper my trust in the world of scissors, fast pacing customer service and head massage.
